Golden milk

This delicious drink originated in Ayurveda has been known for centuries as a natural medicine that helps to fight infections. Recently it’s been also proven to help reduce chronic inflammations and improve digestion. It can take time for you to get used to the distinctive turmeric flavour but once you will I guarantee, you’ll be drinking this sweet golden milk with great enthusiasm.


Ingredients:

1 teaspoon of ground turmeric

a pinch of ground black pepper

1 cup of plant based milk or raw cow/goat milk

1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil or ghee

Honey or maple syrup to taste


Directions:

Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook until it starts simmering. That’s it, enjoy!
